Across the world, a common problem that happens to be lurking in all countries. That problem is inequality. Inequality is a lack of fairness and/or justice. During inequality, a certain target group in a nation doesn't have as much power as other groups do. Inequalities between certain “minority” groups and majority groups can lead to many results. Including rebelling against the government. Inequality leads to “minority groups” rebelling against their own nation’s leaders because of how they’ve been treated. Evidence that validates the statement, is shown in Document 5. Document 5 has an image of people from Beijing raising up a sign. The sign states, “All power belongs to the people.” (Document 5). During the Cultural Revolution, the leader of China at the time, Mao tried to bring back China’s commitment to communism. He did this by ordering “red guards”, who were groups of students to seize educated people with jobs (Teachers, politicians) to get re-educated. He also silenced critics.
