One of the main reasons why America may never fully achieve this goal is the persistence of systemic racism. Despite efforts to address discrimination and inequality, racial biases are still prevalent in various institutions such as education, employment, and the criminal justice system. These systemic issues perpetuate disparities in opportunities and outcomes for different racial and ethnic groups, making it challenging to achieve true equality.
