The story I found was called “Ryan’s Story” and it was a popular story about a young boy who committed suicide because he was cyber bullied. Ryan had suffered from a learning disability which had required him to seek special education help until the fifth grade. As the years passed, Ryan improved but began to notice that he was not as academically successful as his peers. The bullying started in the fifth grade and from then on continued and became worse. There was nothing the school would do to help this problem so the mom took matters into her own hand and put Ryan through kick boxing lessons so that he would be able to defend himself. Sure enough, the mother got a phone call saying that the principal had just broken up a fight between Ryan and his bully. Ryan later began to get into social media, and from then on it all went downhill. He was bullied even worse through social media. This all led to his suicide. The mother wrote the blog about her son and although she did see signs, she never expected him to take his own life. With depression in kids you sometimes least expect it. He or she could be one of the most outgoing kids, but could have deeper issues going on that you could be completely blinded
