Leonard, a volunteer at the Catholic Charities, grows tomatoes and others crops near downtown Reno, in Nevada. It reported that, “Leonard helps grow food for the more than
154,000 people who rely on Catholic Charities’ food assistance programs.” According to their website, they helped 8 million of people with food services and 422 thousand with behavioral health services. All that being said, we can conclude that the Catholic Charities excel at bringing the most in need, out of their respective struggles and helping them recover from these. They make available food and healthcare services to the poor, shelters and homes to the homeless, education to adults and children, care-givers to seniors, essentials for victims of natural disasters, and many others. They don’t only take care of their physical well-being but ensure that they are spiritually and emotionally healthy. With fully devoted volunteers working to reduce poverty in our country, they achieve a lot of goals changing the lifestyles of hundreds of families per
