Specific Purpose: To inform my audience about how people have predicted their own deaths
Thesis: Three of these incidents that I found interesting out of the many I found were Pete Maravich, Frank Pastor and Mickey Welsh.

A. Attention Getter: Death is not a fun topic to talk about, but imagine if you predicted your own death and it actually happened. Well that is exactly what has happened to people throughout history.
B. Reason to Listen: As crazy as it sounds it has happened to many individuals.

Transition: Now that I told you about how Pete Maravich had predicted his death, I will tell you how Frank Pastore had predicted his death.
B. Frank Pastore had predicted his death on his radio show.
1. Frank Pastore had played professional baseball back in the 1980’s as a pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds and the Minnesota Twins. After that he had hosted the most listened to Christian talk show in America, according to an article on Cracked.com.
a. The Prediction.
• One topic Frank had liked to talk about was the mortality of the soul.
• From an article titled “Frank Pastore” from therichest.com, on Frank’s broadcast on November 19, 2012 he had stated during one of his discussions, “you guys know I ride a motorcycle, right? At any moment, especially with the idiot people who cross the diamond lane into my lane... At any minute, I could be spread all over the 210” (therichest.com).
