I quickly wrote down my sources on notecards so that I did not forget to list them. With the aid of my Powerpoint, my speech went fluently. Or at least, it did for the most part. I did several things to prepare for my informative speech. First, I thought of a topic. I chose the topic of "memes" because many people do not know about the glories that shower memes daily. Also, the history of memes seemed interesting to me; I was able to learn several things through research, including the origin of the word and the history of the meme "Kilroy was here." After I had decided on a topic, I began working on my Powerpoint. I realized that making a Powerpoint presentation was going to be much simpler than drawing all of the memes by hand. I gathered pictured of many viral memes over the years, and I edited myself as the meme format "Wot in presentation." I also edited a "Rick-roll" video, which is a type of video that cuts to the Rick Astley song "Never Gonna Give You Up." (This song is worth listening to if you haven't heard
