Paganism is a nature worshipping religion. To Pagans the Earth is sacred. Most Pagans are eco-friendly, wanting to live in a way that reduces harm to the natural environment. Pagans worship the divine (nature) in many different forms. They do it through feminine and masculine imagery and without gender. The most important and most recognized of these are the God and Goddess whose annual cycle of procreation, giving birth and dying defines the year. Pagans strongly agree equality of genders. Paganism is not based on doctrine. Many Pagans believe ‘if it harms none, do what you will’. Pagan theology is primarily based on experience. In present day, the Pagan tradition manifests both as communities reclaiming their ancient sites to put humankind back in harmony with Earth.
