Houston continued to excel in her career. In 1992, she transferred to the acting world to star as the female lead in The Bodyguard with male lead Kevin Costner. She then moved to the small screen in 1997, producing and playing the Fairy Godmother to Brandy’s Cinderella in a Wonderful World of Disney remake of Cinderella. But she still found a way to add her special Whitney touch. She then covered Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” which became her biggest hit in her career. It resulted in her winning three Grammys including Album of the Year and Record of the Year. In 1998, she released My Love is Your Love, her first non-soundtrack studio album in years. The following year, she did an interview about her involvement with alcohol, drugs, cocaine, and marijuana in a special edition of ABC’s Primetime with Diane Sawyer. In the late 1900s and 2000s, her increasingly rocky marriage and drug and health problems began to derail her career. In 2006, she was named as the most awarded female artist of all time in the Guinness World
