I responded to the holding tank along with Officers Carbajal B2927, Scordato B0626, Carroll B2173, and Sergeant Burnside B1124. Once the holding tank was opened, I gave Inmate Hollins orders to step out of the tank and to place his hands behind his back. Inmate Hollins complied with my orders and I placed him into handcuffs. Due to Inmate Hollins’ agitated and aggressive behavior, Lt. Leonard A6248 ordered that the handcuffs remain on until Inmate Hollins’ behavior did not present a danger to MCSO and CHS staff.
At 1627 hours, Inmate Hollins moved his hands which are still secured with handcuffs from the back to the front by stepping over his hands with his right leg first and then his left leg.
At 1651 hours, Mental Health staff attempted to speak to Inmate Hollins. Due to his continued agitated and unpredictable behavior Mental Health staff ended the interview. Mental Health staff then ordered Inmate Hollins transfered to P3 for further evaluation.
At 1914 hours, MCSO transportation arrived to escort Inmate Hollins to P3. At 1924 hours, Inmate Hollins was placed into a belly belt and leg chained for transport. At 1926 hours, Inmate Hollins was removed from the medical holding tank and escorted to the vehicle sally
