Security is the main problem in Guatemala. Due to the corruption and crime, citizens in this country are victims of insecurity on the streets and even into their own homes. Every day Guatemalan’s community hear terrible events against human integrity as; kidnapping, extortion, and government corruption. White-collar crime is common, like in most of The Latin American countries. One of the solutions to this problem is the government depuration. Authorities must commitment with people and help them to get an education, health, and security. Security was the reason that we emigrated from Guatemala to the United States of America. As a mother, I was concerned about my family integrity. Members of my family and friends had been victims of crime.
