Everyone sees them at some point; begging on a street corner with a sign. Some choose to ignore these people in need, merely because it is easier. Some choose to help them. The homeless are a part of one of the most stigmatized groups of people due to a misconception that those on the street belong there. Anyone can be homeless. 1 in 10 young adults is homeless today. Big cities have a bigger population of homelessness, not only because of the higher population but because of easier access to food, bathrooms, shelters and public transportation. The state of New York leads the U.S. with the most homelessness in California close behind. Homelessness can be a result of a loss of a job, a weak support system at home, drug addiction
