Everybody felt it at one time or another; rather it was for a pet, person, or even a non living object. Love can consume your whole being, or just be mistaken for a little crush. Some people search for what seems to be a lifetime for love, where others seem to fall in and out of love on a regular basis. Love is felt in different intensities; Thinking of others, caring for others, and parenting others.
Love is rarely defined because everyone experiences differently. When you love someone, you tend to care for them. You try to give them any and anything to make them happy. For example, Twesigye Jackson showed caring when two children named, Eva and Fiona came to his parent’s house and he funded money for their school textbooks when their families could not afford it.
When one first think of love, they immediately visualize the romantic type of love. Being ‘In love,” make your heart beat every time you think of that person; your hands get clammy, you almost feel like you are going to be sick, and you are not sure what to say or how to act because your body and soul become numb. Another type of love is when you think of others before yourself. When you put others before yourself you give them your last. You give them the shirt off your back, the last crumb of food you have, and last bit of money to make sure their needs are met. For example, Jackson’s wife Beronda, gave up the money they had saved as a down payment for a house to help her husband build a school for the orphans. Only a person with that type of love will do that. Sad to say, I don’t know too many people that will give up their down payment or fund money for a school unless it is for their own children or benefit.
A parent’s love for a child can also be described as love at first sight, but this is also very strong because it comes from a natural instinct to protect our offspring. For example, Jackson not only provided for his son Nicholas, but for the aids orphans. He treats them as if all of them
