The results demonstrated that students from the intervention group had higher and clearer communication content as compared to the control group with p-values of 0.001 (Marshall, Harrison and Flanagan, 2009). Strengths of this study were that the participants randomized, and the communication results were measured blindly without bias by investigators. Limitations of this study were that only medical students participated and there was no follow up on how well the students internalized the training. Effective communication and teamwork skills are important to develop as a nursing student. Personally, I feel that I have not been well prepared to work with other interprofessionals. I have only experienced two interprofessional educational opportunities. I think that the strategies I found such as team training and interprofessional education would be beneficial for both senior students and new healthcare providers. These strategies give interprofessionals the opportunity to build good working relationships with each other and develop effective communication. I have also gained more values of interprofessional collaboration after this exercise. Now I am much more motivated to try and be a part of the team at my clinical
