Also keep the area where the dog sleeps, eat, and play clean to keep away roundworms. Also keep track of what your dog eats to make sure he doesn't eat any rodents or other species that can be infected. Make sure to throw away his poop properly and clean up after him in your yard and in the park. Is important to not let your dog use a playground or a sand box as a litter box. Keep your dog extremely away from small wild animals, it is preferred to keep him on a leash or in a fenced yard.
