Has your home been invaded by foreign animals? The burmese python, wild pig, medfly, and other species have invaded U.S territory; America must eliminate them from the country because they are affecting the environment in a negative way. Invasive species are a known threat to America. In The U.S, solutions have been found to lessen the effect of invasive species in U.S territory, but there are still issues to be faced.
In Everglades Florida, the burmese python is invading territory rapidly; it is killing other animals, and making its way to the top of the food chain. The snake is also invading the cost of other states, and even some rivers. Other animals have invaded, making this snake not the only habitat issue. In addition to the issue of the burmese python, The wild pig is invading Florida, Texas and other states as well, when they should actually be living in the Caribbean. 2.3 million wild pigs have been bred in Texas. (Lauren Tarshis 9) Also, the medfly, a sub saharan African insect, now invades fruit all over the U.S. It is causing fruit crop problems in several areas.
