A backdoor would cost Apple a significant amount of time and resources to create, considering the system would never be destroyed. If an operating system built by Apple goes into the wrong hands, a new attack would occur and would weaken the protections for security that Apple spent years making to protect its customers (Burgess 2). Apple should be the choice when choosing a new phone or tech product, and current economic trends show that Apple is to be ahead of other tech companies in the future. Out of all of the phones, the iPhone is the easiest to use. There’s not a separate app drawer for apps and no unimportant overlay to take up space. The iPhone just has to be picked up, turned on, and touched. This is very simple. Even siri and the control center have made it easy for anyone to use. They want to make it easy to access and use. Apple’s approach is different than the geeky engineers amazed by the technology at their hands and create something because they can. The engineers who create Apple products actually create them as it were for themselves.
