The Irenaean theodicy or also known as “Soul- Making theodicy” is a Christian theodicy that was made in response to the problem of evil by defending the existence of an omnipotent and omnibenevolent God. It claims that this world created by this God is the best of all possible worlds because it contains what people need to fully develop, and that while evil exists its existence is not because God created it. He is not responsible or guilty for this. Humans are made incomplete just through creation itself and must undergo a life with suffering and experience of evil to become fully complete. In this paper, I will describe the Christian’s argument for the existence of one all powerful, all good, and all knowing God using the Irenaean theodicy
