Is Harrison Bergeron a hero or a threat to society? This dystopian world believes by making everyone equal, it is a Utopian world, but they are incorrect In the story “Harrison Bergeron” is refusing to follow the law. He has a good reason though. These laws include items called handicaps which makes things that are you like cleverness or strengths equal to everyone so no one is jealous or better than anyone else.

In my opinion , he is a hero to society. He fights for people’s rights like Martin Luther King Jr. Since they want everyone equal, they don’t have very good education so they have simplistic conversations. He has a TON of handicaps because of how strong and smart he is. He takes them off and claims a spouse and shows people
