In Daniel Burrus’ 2012 article “Is Technology Good or Evil?”, Burrus posed the question of whether or not technology is truly good or evil, or if it is what we do with it that truly matters. A large portion of the article deals with new technological advances being produced in the military, specifically drones. Staying with the theme, Burrus states “describing drones as good or bad becomes harder to answer when you see the many shades of grey underlying the subject.” He first provides examples of the good; drones helping in search and rescue missions.
