Is venison better than beef? Many people have long since learned that if it is processed correctly, venison is a very good flavored meat. It is also usually tender and lean. What more and more people are learning is that it is also a lot healthier than beef.

Foods consumed

Much of the beef that is available in stores comes from animals that are kept in small enclosures and which are fed grain that has been treated with antibiotics and growth hormones. The reason, of course, is to make the animal gain as much weight as possible, as fast as possible.
