Ben displays a genuine interest in all areas of the curriculum and tries his best to complete set tasks. He follows class expectations, however, and does need some reminders to not let friendships distract him from his learning. Ben displays persistence and seeks assistance when feeling unsure about a particular concept. He accurately follows class routines and can follow instructions effectively. Ben enjoys sharing his ideas, thoughts and understandings with his peers and is beginning to develop his confidence to share more readily in a whole class setting. Ben is a pleasure to teach, and I wish him continued success in the coming semester. Great effort Ben! Great work!

Mathematics Comment:

Ben has made pleasing progress in Mathematics this semester and has a positive outlook towards tasks. He can count to and from 100 accurately. When focused, Ben can read, recognise, order and model numbers using place value. This is pleasing to see. He is however, still developing some of his number formations to ensure they are facing the correct direction. Ben recognises Australian coins and is working to correctly order according to their value with assistance. She shows a genuine interest in a variety of learning areas. Madi requires guidance to remain focused and complete set tasks to the best of her ability. When attentiveness is required, Madi is reminded to not let friendships distract her from her learning. Madi enjoys sharing her thoughts and ideas with her peers when confident and is beginning to share readily in class discussions.
