Scenario
InnoTech Centre based at SWC, is a leading business and mentoring support centre providing vital expertise, advice and support for small businesses in the local area.
Their aim is to nurture and grow innovation and technology through four key concepts:
Creating partnerships with other colleges, businesses and organisations
Helping local business embrace innovation through high grade knowledge exchange and technology development
Providing training and technical mentoring to businesses
Promoting a culture of innovation and adventure in schools in a dynamic and exciting way to promote the STEM subjects.
You have been given the responsibility of handling a new client of InnoTech, called AniMania. AniMania are a small animation company just starting out, who specialise in creating online advertisements and 2D animations.
You have been asked to produce a series of manuals and video tutorials to help AniMania with the installation and upgrade of software. You must create booklets and a training manual, as well as give demonstrations to the client to help her keep her computer system at its best and to educate her on when she should change her software and risks she may face. The owner Miss Frost needs you to install anti-virus software for her and to update her current Operating System, Windows XP, to Windows 7.
