Bud Fox is a Wall Street stockbroker in early 1980's New York with a strong desire to get to the top. He works for his firm during the day, and at night, he spends his spare time working angle with the high-powered, extremely successful, but ruthless broker Gordon Gekko. Fox finally meets with Gekko, who takes him under his wing and shares his philosophy that "Greed is Good". Taking the advice and working closely with Gekko, Fox soon finds himself swept into a world of ", shady business deals, the "good life", fast money, and women; something which is at odds with his family including his father and the poverty-stricken way Fox was brought up, with little money, which working with Gekko and getting tons of money throws him.
Charlie Sheen plays Bud Fox, Michael Douglas plays Gordon Gekko, Daryl Hannah plays Darien, Bud Fox’s girlfriend, and Martin Sheen plays Bud Fox’s father. In my opinion, every actor did a great actor save for Daryl Hannah, who I felt wasn’t genuinely involved with her character.
I disliked the middle of the movie; it got pretty slow, but I really liked the end, and how Bud Fox’s felt the repercussions of the actions he took in order to get money. I liked when he went to work and everyone stared at him, and when he walked into his office, the police/detectives took him away,
