One of the biggest questions that exist is “what is the true definition of religion?” The definition that stood out to me the most, that best fit the word religion from the list that was presented to the class is by J. Milton Yinger. Yinger definition of religion can be summarized into one statement which is that religion is used to fix problems of a human life. With every religion that one can look into each has a guide on being happier and on how to live a better life. As human we face many dilemmas and obstacles. Yinger statement shows that human uses religion to overcome those dilemmas and obstacles by giving them meaning and having a purpose behind them. So, by doing this people in return can now have faith and hope that there are better
