The JC national patient safety goal I choose is prevent mistakes in surgery. I choose to write about this topic because it is a popular topic to talk about and I know a person who has been given the surgery in the wrong site. It is very important to check everything before doing a surgery to a patient, such as making sure that the surgery is done on the correct place. For example, to mark the location so the surgeons will not get confused on which side to do the surgery.
