Leadership is the act of leading a group of people or an organization. It means never expecting more from your peers than you are willing to give to them. It means to inspire others to succeed, rather than simply ordering them to do a task. To do so in a way that instills confidence and trust from others. In JROTC, I plan to explore that side of being a leader. As a leader, you should learn people’s strengths and weaknesses. A great leader would take those weaknesses, and work with that person to progressively adjust them to become strengths. That is precisely what I plan to do.
