In the novel Lord of the Fly's written by William Golding, Jack was the one person who would not take responsibility for his actions.

He had a terrible personality towards all the boys. He was rude, extremely arrogant, and jealous if any of the boys had any kind of success on the island.

His behavior was that he could do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted to do it. And that one thing was to hunt, even if he wasn't very good at it.
