Hey everyone. I'm Jackie Robinson, and I'm excited to share my story with you. Back when I was a kid, I loved playing baseball more than anything else. I was born in 1919, in a place called Georgia. Baseball was like magic to me – running, swinging, catching – it made me feel alive!

But you know what to do? It wasn't easy for me. See, I was Black, and some people didn't think Black folks should play baseball with White folks. Can you believe that? It hurt, but I didn't let it stop me. I kept practicing, dreaming big dreams.
