On October 22, 2014, this officer first met with Jadakiss, his mother, grandmother, aunt, and in-home workers to conduct a social history for compliance with the department of Juvenile Justice standards. The mother was going to waive a lawyer. This officer informed the Judge of the recent release from a mental hospital and the state that he was last observed in. A public defender was appointed and a competency evaluation ordered. The case was continued until December 10, 2014. This officer spoke with Jadakiss and his family after court. Jadakiss still presented mannerisms of concern but he was able to communicate his concerns. He continued to present a threatening stare at this officer and stated that he did not like that this officer was calling him crazy and saying something was not right with him. This officer explained only the doctor could say what was needed and that a competency evaluation was the only thing being requested today.
