In regard to what is mentioned by Torres-Lima and Burns in their article, ‘Regional
Culture and Urban Agriculturalists of Mexico City’, regional culture is based on organizational patterns with in multigenerational families (2002). Japanese food has also been evolving as more people continue to leave rural areas to urban areas. In addition, as Japanese people migrate to other parts of the world such as the U.S.A, there culture food is manipulated to in order to meet local interests. However, it still carries a Japanese identity even though it might be called English names.
Observation 4:
Even though the Osaka Grill restaurant claims that all the recipes offered are of Japanese culture, there are some crops which are also found in other cultural diets. These include carrots, broccoli, avocado, rice, cabbages, onions, to mention but a few. However, some of crops such as the broccoli and carrot have been genetically modified in order to meet the modern society diet (Warinner, 2013). Such crops are not only found in the Japanese culture but also in other culture. We also have them in my Rwandan traditional diet. Nonetheless, the preparation and combination of the above crops with other ingredients is what makes them unique to the Japanese
