Jeannine burk was one of the many people that survived the holocaust. Jeannine Burk’s life was hard before and after the war. Jeannine Burk was born on September 15, 1939 in Brussels, Belgium. During the war, Jeannine’s father took her to a place kind of like an orphanage. That was the last time she’s ever seen her father. The woman that “took her in” did not abuse her mentally or physically but she didn’t love her either. Her brother and sister also had a place to go just like she did. The Nazi’s love parades, and everyone had to watch whenever they did and whenever they had a parade then the lady put her in an outhouse she was terrified. The outhouse was small but there was a tiny crack she could peek through and see
