Jimmy Donaldson, more commonly known as MrBeast, is a YouTube personality who started making videos in North Carolina during his high school years. His dedication to making videos didn’t seem to pay off at first, but through years of commitment, he started to see a rise in popularity. This rise inspired him to keep working hard so that one day he could use his success to help those who are less fortunate. Mr Beast has been quoted many times saying that making someone smile is the best feeling that someone can have. This is exactly why I aspire to be like him one day.
Just like Mr. Beast, I too come from a low-income family, and seeing that he was able to become something so great inspires me every day to be the best possible version of myself. I see his successes as opportunities that I have to chase. His passion for making others happy reminds me that a community is built through helping others rather than being selfish and only thinking about one's benefits. What makes Donaldson so great, is that instead of keeping the money for himself, he decided that he would take the money and give it to a homeless person. Watching the video truly illustrated how full-heartedly compassionate Donaldson was. After seeing how happy he could make people, he decided to do it again, but this time he generously tipped pizza delivery drivers. But he didn’t stop there, when he had allotted enough money, Donaldson wrote his mother a check to help pay for her home.
