Jo Ann Robinson was a courageous civil rights activist that made an impact on the Montgomery Bus Boycott .What action made her a civil rights activist? Well, I will tell you what happen .Jo Ann was exhilarated to meet her family for the holidays ,so not thinking Jo Ann sat in the white section of the bus. The bus driver screamed at her to get off the bus, feeling desolate Jo Ann decided to help the boycott so no one would be treated just like her.

Jo Ann Robinson was born April 17,1912 and she was the youngest of twelve children .She went to school at Fort Valley State University and then became a teacher in Macon. She became a professor of English at Alabama State College during the bus boycott .She was married to
