Carter states,¨ The term ¨hero¨ brings many adjectives to one’s mind: strong, brove, caring and in some cases, even self-sacrificing¨. One of the many big heroes are organ and tissue donors everywhere who provide life to others they do not know of. The article states, ¨Providing an organ or bodily tissue to someone is an ultimate gift of life. Many individuals donate their organs and bone marrow while living upon death in order to give others in need of these precious gifts a chance at life that would not be available otherwise.¨ These organ donors, upon their own will choose to care for others they don’t know. They are the perfect example of true heroes who are role models and true inspirations for others in the society.
