John Fee was born in the year 1816 to an unlikely matrimony between John Fee and Elizabeth Bradford. Fee’s father inherited a bondman as well as a pro slavery outlook in order to have reliable laborers for his farm. Elizabeth on the other hand was a kind hearted woman who carried a strong sense of liberty and opposed slavery. Despite these controversial outlooks, Fee grew up never questioning the morality of slavery but carrying a tender heart to the workers. Raised on a slave holder farm coupled with religious backings of the idea, Fee was mislead for years until he gave into God. During 1830, Fee began to explore religion in a Christian church nearby where he learned of his personal sin. Swayed from pursuing this by his father
