John Sanders was born November 1st,1842 in Chicago,IL.His father left the family when John was 3 years old,his mom had troubles since then.John’s mom was abusive and only fed herself so John and his sisters had to find food for themselves.John and his sister didn’t have any money so John would go out every day stealing food stores and street venders. His sister didn’t John was stealing the food he kept it a secret from her.His mom decided to finally leave Chicago and head out to New York.John and his sister were on their own living on the streets.John made a name for himself venders always complained about the little boy snatching their food,they began telling the police to look for a small boy around the age of 12.So

He sometimes took money he only had about 1 dollar,he never really took money because the stores and venders always had it in a safe or hidden …show more content…
He was about to leave when he noticed movement on top of building. He looked up and saw a girl jumping from building to building.He was amazed he never seen a person nor a child up there. She let down a rope in behind the vedders and stealthily climb down it using the venders’ stands as cover. The girl then started stealing money not food but money in place John has never thought of like behind a pile of trash tied under a chair it was brilliant.But before John could watch anymore he heard a Alfred scream “That's him get him!”.John panicked and tried to hide under a carriage but it was too late the cops finally caught the child
