Did you know that John Wilkes Booth was the best actor? John Wilkes Booth was born in Bel Air, Maryland in 1836. John Wilkes Booth was the ninth of ten kids and two parents. His father died in 1852, so his mom was by herself. His mother was a mistress for a slave owner. Booth wanted to act like his dad and brother to keep the tradition going. Booth wanted to follow in his dad’s footsteps and study Shakespeare. Booth had a lot of success in everything he did because he was so talented. In conclusion, Booth had a good childhood when he was growing up.

Throughout Booth's education, he learned how to act from his dad and brother. Booth learned how to study Shakespeare from his father. Once his father died 1852, Booth abandoned his studies. The
