I hope to pursue an Article III judicial clerkship after earning my law degree, and I am heavily considering a career in appellate litigation. I believe that the University of Virginia School of Law’s unique strengths make it a strong fit for me, and it is accordingly one of my top choices. Virginia Law consistently ranks as one of the best schools in the nation for placing its students into federal clerkships. Last year, 15.8% of Virginia’s graduating class secured federal clerkships – a significantly greater percentage than any of UVA’s peer schools. I realize from speaking with current Virginia Law students and alumni that UVA provides an unrivaled level of support for its students as they navigate through the clerkship application process.
