Juicing is the process of extracting juice from fruit and vegetables.Although fresh juice contains the same nutrients as the original fruit and vegetables, the juicing process removes fibers making the juice more concentrated. Juicing done right can have many benefits for the different human organ systems. The functions and mechanisms of the digestive system, respiratory system, circulatory system, nervous system, and urinary system are all positively impacted by the consumption of the nutrient-rich liquid that comes from juicing. The enzymes, vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients and more that come from juicing results in a better function and more efficient organ systems.

Firstly, juicing positively impacts the digestive system by allowing

Juicing is good for the respiratory system as it provides the body with the essential vitamins, minerals, phytochemical, and more, to maintain lung health. This is important because deficiencies of some vitamins have shown to have negative effects on lung health. For example, folate deficiency is highly associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, difficulty breathing and poor lung function.Vitamin C, and E deficiency has been associated with an increased risk of asthma, and poor lung health, while Vitamin D deficiency is also associated with poor immune function and an increased susceptibility to respiratory infections. (Georgiou, C.n.d.) However, many of the fruits and vegetables that will be consumed when juicing contain the essentials to allow the body and lungs to function properly. Some other essentials for lung health include vitamins B3, B6 and B12, carotenoids, and quercetin. Vitamins B3, B6 and B12 reduces the occurrence of asthma, improves lung function and symptoms of allergies. Juicing also provides the body with carotenoids, which are naturally occurring pigments in plants that provide color in certain
