Julia Elizabeth Wells, known as Julie Andrews, was born on October 1, 1935. She grew up in Walton-on- Thames, a suburb south of London. She was the daughter of Ted Wells, a teacher, and Barbara Morris Wells, an accomplished pianist who was also a piano teacher and part time pianist for her sister’s dance school. When she was four years old, her parents divorced and her mother married Ted Andrews, later she took the surname of her stepfather. Singer, actress, and author Julie Andrews is an inspiring woman because she was talented at a young age, fought through bronchitis and pneumonia, and won several entertainment awards.
Talented at a young age, Julie was aware of the sound of music at a very early age. She was taught by her family. “For instance, her aunt owned Miss LeMarchand’s School. Finding out she was diagnosed, Julie took it hard. Unfortunately during her final months, the star had messed more than thirty performances, suffering from bouts of bronchitis and pneumonia. The most persistent of her troubles, despite, repeated medication from the sills related to her throat. Her downfall was tragic. Half a century of singing had inevitable taken its toll. As far back as 1956, triumphant in my fair lady, Julie had been in a ragged state from night after night of belting she admitted, “singing has never been partially easy for me.” “After almost six hundred performances, of the show( Victor/ Victoria). She was in deep trouble; a cyst had appeared on the left side of her throat.
