Many characters in Shakespeare's play, “Julius Caesar” arise contradictory perception within the reader’s mind. Caesar, the original Roman dictator, was dear friends with both Brutus and Antony. Until conspirators convince Brutus to murder Caesar, leading Antony, Lepidus, and Octavius to form the triumvirate. From these events, Caesar, Antony, and Brutus can be named; loyal friend, admiral leader, and honorable patriot. But some consider them as a traitorous conspirator, ruthless opportunist, and tyrannical dictator.
