In this brief essay, I will cover what personality type was indicated for myself per the Jung Personality Test. Once indicated I will break down each individual part of the indicated personality and provide examples, strengths, weaknesses, etc. I will then dive into my overall personality by expounding upon what I have learned from this personality test. To conclude I will further dive into what I have learned about my personality and seek to apply it to both my personal and work life.

Firstly, this personality test has shown me that I am decisive. Something that can be both a blessing and a curse in many aspects. It can be a blessing in that this personality trait allows me to make decisions quickly. It can be a curse in that this personality trait can allow me to make decisions far too quickly. Decisions that are made far too quickly can be ones that were not thought out to their full extent and hence they can be faulty decisions. This must be something I must be mindful of if I am to be successful as a decision maker both in and outside the workplace. Secondly, this personality test has indicated that I rely on logic far more than I rely on feelings. This too can both be a blessing and a curse. This personality trait can allow me to make decisions that are uninhibited by my feelings. This is a worthwhile trait that many need but it can also lean me towards ignoring the decisions of those that may be more feeling based as illegitimate decisions because they are not based wholly on logic. This too must be something I must be mindful of both in and outside of the workplace. This particular trait also reminds me that regardless of how I mean something in and outside of the workplace it could be taken personally by those with a more feeling personality (Kroeger, Thuesen, & Rutledge, 2002). Lastly, this personality test has reinforced my belief that I was extraverted. This is a must know trait when one decides what kind of life/work life one is too lead. In light of this personality a total work from home career may not be a beneficial one for myself because as pointed out in this personality test and my life in insolation I could very much become depressed.
