Essay Question 2 The question was describe an investigation that had a learned lesson while working the case or after the case. I can remember a case involving Justin and Debra. To start this case I need to give you a little history about the two individuals. Debra and Justin are both drug addicts and Debra is 15 years older than Justin with 3 kids from other sperm donors. Debra breaks up with Justin and moves back to her mother’s house. This would be around the end of July 2016. Two weeks after Debra leaves Justin, he sees her at the dollar general in Ohatchee. They stated he was the other party in the Dollar General incident and he was going to kill all of the police that came to his house. We could at this time see that he was not thinking clearly and he had committed domestic violence. I then called the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office and ask if they would assist in this matter and send some back up. The Sheriff’s Office sent there swat team and Southside Police sent three officers to help until the county arrived. He kept calling 911 and they would connect him to my cell phone and he kept asking me if I could let him talk to Debra. I told him as soon as we knew he was safe we would get Debra on the phone. He gets mad and hangs up and he then calls back and tells 911 that he has just killed his neighbor in his driveway and we need to come get him medical treatment. He was trying to get us to come to his house where he could kill law enforcement. We continues to talk to him and he told us finally he had not shot anyone and just before we were fixing to send in swat the suspect gave up and walked out to the rode and was arrested for domestic violence and for terroristic threats. He was placed in the Calhoun County Jail with a cash bond set at 50,000 cash due to the threats towards law
