General information about Canada
Canada is a country in North America. It´s the second largest country by total area in the world and it has the longest coastline of all countries with about 203000 kilometres. The climate in Canada is often very cold, and it snows a lot. In summer on daytime it can rise up to 35°c while in winter the temperatures lows to about -25°C. The capital city is Ottawa which also is the fourth largest city in Canada and the second coldest capital in the world. Some other big cities in Canada are Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Toronto is actually the biggest city in Canada. The city is 630 km2 and it lives 2,6 million people in Toronto.

A lot of celebrities come from Canada, for example: Justin Bieber who is a very famous singer. He was born march 1, 1994 in Ontario, Canada. He lived with his mom, Patricia Mallette, and his dad, Jeremy Jack Bieber. His career started of with him putting up videos on Youtube and he gained a lot of views. Scooter Braun, an American talent manager, later found one of Justins videos by accident while he was searching for a different singer. Impressed as Scooter was he contacted Justin's mother. And after a while, he released the first single “One Time”. Another example is Jim Carrey who is a very famous actor, comedian and producer. He was born in January 17, 1962 in Newmarket, Canada. He´s done movies like, Dumb and Dumber, Yes Man, Me, Myself and Irene, The Truman Show and Liar Liar. …show more content…
