Achieving this goal will require us to fully utilize Kaiser Permanente's robust healthcare system, skilled staff, and strategic community partnerships. Our strategy utilizes Kaiser Permanente's multicultural workforce to create culturally relevant educational materials. Additionally, we plan to use Kaiser Permanente's communication channels, such as patient portals, and develop an app for patients to access information. Collaboration with community health organizations will be essential in recruiting healthcare workers from low-income and minority communities to act as liaisons between providers and patients. This collaborative effort aims to improve communication, promote cultural sensitivity, and empower patients within our healthcare system. We also offer healthcare providers the essential training to conduct health literacy assessments and accurately interpret the results. We allocate significant resources and staff time to maintain ongoing engagement with community stakeholders and to establish strong partnerships with local organizations and government agencies.
