The feminist essay "On the Equality of the Sexes" is credited as Judith Sargent Murray's most important work. She argues the intellectual as well as the spiritual equality of males and females. Even though there is equality, men and women have advantages and disadvantages in different aspects in their intellectual properties. The argument stems from the fact that men and women are raised in different manners, which leads to different abilities to be strengthens in our respective genders.
