I strongly believe that gay marriage is an abomination to both humanity and God, and is a threat to the human race in the long-run. Gay couples end up having serious health issues and cannot reproduce. Back in the day, there weren’t any homosexuals. If someone found out someone was gay or slept with the same sex, they would be stoned or killed. It is against the bible, and many other religions, to be gay. Humans were made to reproduce. If a man and another man have sexual intercourse, it is impossible for them to produce offspring. In order to reproduce, you would need an egg and sperm. If homosexuals can’t reproduce, then there is no point to be together. It is also stated that gay couples are more unfaithful to each other than being with the opposite gender. They are stereotyped as unfaithful because when gay people were completely unaccepted by society, they would get married to a woman but sneak around to be with their actual lovers. Having sexual intercourse is also a huge health issue. It can cause anal cancer and can lead to a loss of 20 years of life expectancy. Back in the day, whenever someone was found sleeping with the opposite gender was immediately burned to death. The book of Leviticus (18:22) states that a man should not lay with another man as he does a woman. People interpreted that into homosexuality being a sin. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 says, “9Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.” In other words, God created Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.
