All three of theses stores connect by telling us about life and different aspects of it simply by a choice we chose to view it through. As for "Allegory of the Cave" it compared the "prisoners" to the men whom had "freedom" and were not chained up, "David Foster Wallace on Life and Work" compared all kinds of our "default-settings" and how we chose to prospect life, and last "Kasha Unpanishad" too, speaks about how everything comes hand in hand such as when she stated "self is not born; it does not die" meaning you can make what you want out of your life, it's all up to you. These stories come together by defining "self", in the way that all of them explain how we can visualize life from many different aspects starting with a simple choice
