In critiquing An Analysis of “It Takes Two…” it’s my opinion that the writer of the analysis was successful in providing the necessary information to capture the contents and the objective of the article written by Katha Pollitt. The writer clearly formats the analysis with a proper introduction, giving us the who, what, when and why of the article; all within the first paragraph.
Having solely read the analysis and not the original article, the passion held by Katha Pollitt on this topic is understood and strongly conveyed, the writer calls her language “emotive”. The writer of the analysis properly and consistently kept their own opinions or beliefs out of it and displays having competent knowledge of the topic. The argument is established
