All through the entire world in the 1900’s discrimination was a major problem in everyone’s lives. Now in the book it was mainly people who had colored skin or weren’t of the whites ethnicity. Discrimination all through the book is when people who show hatred to one another because of one’s ethnicity. During this period of time Blacks, Hispanics, and Native Americans were all separate from the whites, this caused them to not have as good things such as seats on the bus, restrooms, communities, or even public schooling.
